Regular and Greek yogurt are made from the same ingredients but differ in nutrients. While regular yogurt tends to have fewer calories and more calcium, Greek yogurt has a thicker consistency and more protein and less sugar. Additions, like maple syrup or fruit adds calories. Both types pack probiotics and support digestion, weight loss, and heart health.

All our yogurt begins with fresh, whole milk from our A2 Jersey cows. You can be assured of our sanitary protocol because what we sell you, our four generations of family eat and drink too : }  What's important to know about Farmstead Acres' milk:

  • Chemical-free farm
  • No pesticides used
  • True organic farming practices
  • 100% Grass-fed
  • No grains
  • No corn silage (corn stored in a silo can make a bitter taste)
  • Our cows are on fresh grass in season and fed stored grasses in winter
  • 100% A2A2 (Jersey) Our cows are all tested and verified for the A2 gene.  Milk from A2 cows has been proven to be easier to digest.

Greek yogurt price vs plain:  Greek yogurt, also known as concentrated or strained yogurt, is made by eliminating the whey and other liquids from regular yogurt. Because the straining process reduces the total volume, Greek yogurt takes significantly more milk than regular yogurt to make a batch of the same size.
